Summary:
A city on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Our first stop of the day was at the Petra Tou Romiou which is known as the birth place of the Godess Aphrodite in Mythology. The Archeological Park of Mosaics features floors of a 100 room house destroyed by earthquakes. They were in amazing shape 4 AD. St. Paul's pillar where the story in the Bible goes he is flogged 39 times is still there to see. My guide Sirin is well versed on the history and was very flexible with the itinerary.

Ryt in the heart of paphos beside the harbour and only a few euros to wander round this fantastic area of history
Mosiacs are stunning and being well preserved by all who work on the dig
Well worth the money ..then out for a beer to cool down as the area has no cover from the sun and again the terrain is very bumpy
